Coleman is Professor of Psychogerontology at the University of Southampton, Fellow of the British Psychological Society (FBPsS) and Chartered Health Psychologist. Tom Kirkwood is Professor of Medicine and Co-Director of the Institute for Ageing and Health at the University of Newcastle, and a Council Member of the UK Academy of Medical Sciences.
